Treasure Millhouse To All Instructors
Treasure Millhouse was born and raised in Purcellville Virginia. She was homeschooled for al1 12 years of her elementary, middle, and high school education and loved every minute of it. She graduated Liberty University with her B.S. in Family and Child Development with a focus in Psychology and Spanish. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a Master of Educational Therapy from Southeastern University. Treasure is passionate about empowering students and families to recognize and reach their full potential and identity in Christ. Her personal relationship with Jesus is central to everything she does, and her ultimate objective is to help others discover the present and eternal freedom that is found in Him.
Along with a desire to help children and families, Treasure loves any opportunity to engage in Spanish language and culture. She fell in love with the language in 8th grade and has pursued any chance to learn and experience it further. In addition to completing four years of Spanish in high school and receiving four semesters of upper-level Spanish instruction in college, she has spent a combined total of six months living abroad in Spanish speaking countries.
In her free time Treasure loves to spend time with her family (especially her 6 nieces and nephews), hike/camp, bake, ski, ride horses, travel, and make/drink coffee. As a former homeschool student, she feels very privileged to pass on the knowledge and blessing that she received by teaching students at Plumbline Schoolhouse this year.
